A community hub has been set up for residents of Hastings and St Leonards who feel they need extra help in coping with the effects of the coronavirus.

What support can I get through the hub?

SUPPORT FOR YOUR BUSINESSSmall business grant fund and the retail, hospitality and leisure grant fund schemeCOVID-19 Emergency provisions.
The government is offering £10,000 and £25,000 grants for eligible businesses under the COVID-19 emergency provisions. Hastings Borough Council is responsible for managing the business rate holiday and applicable grant payments. Our teams are working to get these processed for you in line with government guidance. The Council has now received the funding from the government in respect of the grant payments, along with updated guidance on eligibility and processing requirements. The grants are for those businesses that meet the criteria as per the FAQ's and that were on the Valuation List on 11 March 2020 and not subject to bankruptcy and administration orders. The Council has developed an online information form for businesses that are eligible to claim. |
